This week we have done a little bit from each section of missions. On Monday we did some school assembly's. Tuesday we did community outreach in Msawawa. We were supposed to do morning and afternoon right after lunch, but it rained us out and we only had the morning. But we met some really cool people and had so many cool conversations. We stopped by three houses. The first was a very short conversation but we were able to get him a book of John for him to read. The second house was a large family with three sisters, a dad, a neighbor and a grandmother. The family had so many questions but they did not speak English hardly at all. Our translator was being pulled in so many different directions. We think that the sisters got some of what we were saying and we know the dad was right there and was so close to fully understanding what it means to have a relationship with God. The last house that was another large family and some already seemed to have a relationship with God which was cool for us to be able to encourage them along in their faith. They had two babys there and one was just over a year old and the other was just over three weeks old. The older one was so pleasant and just got passed around.

On Wednesday morning we did something new, we did IBR (Impact Baby Rescue) canvassing. This means we went out into the community at Kya Sands and just handed out fliers to help prevent abortions and raise awareness to prevent people from dumping their babys. We passed out a little over 1,000 fliers. We did that up till lunch and then afterwards we went back out into the same community and did outreach. We ended up stopping by only one house but it was so amazing! This women, Kate, had gone to church before and had a basis for what faith is. We got to share more with her and then she shared her favorite Bible story with us. She ended up telling us about her friend who was in pain from the cancer that she had, and that she lived in the same house as her. Some our group went to pray for her and some stayed with Kate and prayed over her, her brother, her son and the friends daughter. We truly believe that the friend was healed of the cancer that day!

On Thursday We went to Impact Kids school and helped the teachers with their classes. I was with the four and five year olds and they called me Teacher Kayla. It was so cute and these kids were so wild. After lunch we were going to go to another school and do Bible exposure with the kids. This is basically just a 30 min to hour long Bible story and game class. But it started storming really bad and we ended up sending the kids home before it got too dangerous. We stayed there for a little longer and preyed over the school, the kids, the room and their families.

Then on Friday we did to big school assemblys preaching on what the devils plan is and how God can overcome his plan. We ended up mixing up our groups but it was really cool to work with other people and see the way the rest of our teammates preach!

Saturday was our Sabbath so we just had a break and good amount of time to spend with God. Sunday we went to church and afterwards we went to the market. The market was so colorful and lively. I will be posting a just picture blog soon.

This has been my week in a nutshell but there is still so much going on everyday that I don't have time to write about. God has moved in so many ways and I can't wait to see what He is going to do in our last two weeks in Johannesburg before we move to EsWatini!!
